Match Box Shrine

Finally got around to showing the lovely Maxbox Shrine I made at a recent Lyndsay Mason workshop. Its was a great class and we painted, distressed, glued and glittered (generally got really down and mucky) and then we added some lovely gold leafing. My camera doesn't do it justice to be honest as the rich red really glows agains the gold leaf but you can get the general idea.

 

And when you push open the box inside is a lovely minature angel that Lyndsay had found on a car boot sale.
