Black Hole Update

It is really scary - as I said in my last post I ask the room to return my card reader and left the room shutting the door. That was Sunday and on Monday after work I went back into the craft room and there it was sat on my desk in front of the computer screen.

I didn't know if I should be really freaked out or just to say thank you to the room for returning it to me.

So I hover between the two but I did thank the room for being co-operative - I'm always one to hedge my bets. Now I can get my piccys downloaded before the room changes it's mind and takes the reader back again!!!

Mystery - the Big Black Hole

It is a total mystery to me what happens to things in our house. Let me explain - today I went to download some photos off my camera onto the computer I sat at the computer desk and the Universal Card reader is missing.

I can't understand it - it is always left plugged in ready to go and it is not there, I have had the computer room upside down and it definitely is not in the room. After questioning the rest of the family, who disclaim any responsibility to the purloining off the missing reader, I can only assume it has fallen into the huge black hole that lives somewhere in our house.

It is not the first time things like this have happened perhaps we have ghosts that like to hide things! I'm going to stand in the middle of the room and ask for them to stop messing about and put it back because it is holding me up and I'm getting very pissed off with it.

I'll let you know if it works.

Day Out at Graphicus Studios

Had a great day out at Graphicus Studios in Barnard Castle yesterday. It was the 'Garden Party" Day without the garden but lots of demonstrations going on. Distressing, Copic Pens, Shimmer paints, Cuttlebug and Sizzix - a really instructive day. I was made to feel very welcome and look forward to the Melt pot Jewellery course I'm signed up for in August. Can't wait should be fun.

It was a lovely drive over there and we stopped at a temperence hostel owned by the National Trust for a coffee stop set in the most gorgeous surrounding hills of the Yorkshire Dales so peaceful but it must have been a little remote in winter.
