Under the Weather! PLUS SURPRISE CANDY

Because of the candy I have pinned this to the top of my blog - to see later blogs please look below this post.

Sorry for the unscheduled break but I've had a cellulitus attack in my leg and I've not been too well but the antibiotics have finally managed to start to work and I'm feeling a little better today although I have a strange array of large blotchy spots that appeared on my leg last night ( I spoke to my doctor and she said I've got to monitor them!) Could be a new medical phenomenon!!!

Last week I managed to finish another bead 'Wild Women' pin brooch and I thought I would show her to you. The beads on this just flowed and I think the end project works really well. I'm going to have to start to give these beaded girlfriends names.

In fact you can name her - Come on get your thinking caps on and just leave me a comment with your suggestions. I will choose one of your names and will send a LITTLE CANDY as a thank you. I will draw a name on 15th August 2011. No rules but it would be nice if you are a follower and you could spread the word on your blog.

Craft Stamper - Free Stamp Inspiration

Hello – at last. Sorry for the lack of postings over the last couple of weeks but nothing has gone to plan – in fact quite the opposite!

I won’t bore you with the details al l I will say is that I have had a reaction to the antibiotics they gave me for my leg (even though I have had them before) and I broke out in what looked like a nettle rash - from the tips of my toes to the top of my head. The itching was unbearable - I was unable to sleep and even the antihistamines the Doctor prescribed didn’t help that much. I much better now but I still have odd patches of irritation that flare up whenever I’m tired. Most peculiar!

Baz is doing well and hopefully will be going back to work (on reduced hours) at the end of August . I will really miss him it’s lovely to come home and not have any tea to think about – he is turning into a great cook – Jamie Oliver watch out!

Did you get the free stamp of the front of Craft Stamper last month? Its’s a lovely flower stamp and I love the design (some of the free stamps they giveaway are really cracking) - I have really enjoyed playing with this little beauty. I made a couple of birthday cards with it and I kept the design very simple. I love the monotone colour of the card – the rose is TH Tattered Flowers Die which I cut out of a stamped card and the middle is a brad shaped like a button. Simple but very effective.

I would like to enter this in
